About crossdotnet

Published by Phil

Crossdotnet.org is a combination of the Cross and the .net aspects of my life. I am a Chrisitan and a computer programmer too. I love to talk about and write about both and this is where you can learn about God, His son, Jesus Christ, and also maybe catch a tip about how to handle some computer problems.

The cross is where the greatest event in all of human history took place. It wa the cross where Jesus shed His blood as an atonement for our sins. The one true God that created the world came to His creation as a baby and grew and lived as a human being. He then offerred Himself as a sacrifice to be our redeemer so that we can have fellowship with Him. He then ascended into Heaven and sent forth His Holy Spirit to dwell within believers and sustain them in life. He is our creator, our Savior, and our Sustainer. He is our God.

I am sure no one in the late 1800s said “Hey, this is a revolution we are seeing” however it was the beginning of the Industrial revolution and factories changed the way people lived. 100 years later a new revolution began with the advent of the personal computer. When I was 14 years old, while working with a Commodore 64 personal computer, I decided that I was going to be a computer programmer and that dream lives in me today. Computers are constantly evolving at a rate that is mind boggling. There are few true “Experts” in the broad field of computers and I am not one of them but there are multiple experts in minor areas of the field. Just like not all accountants know how to do taxes and not all attorneys defend criminals, not all computer techies or geeks or whatever you may want to call us know everything about all aspects of computers. But what I know, I will share.

So register, comment, and maybe even become a contributor.

God Bless and happy computing.
